My practice explores photography, ceramic glaze and digital painting. Each work spans several months, from making the original ceramic piece, converting this into a photograph, and then working into it digitally. I'm particularly interested in distortion in photography, and how the light reflecting on ceramic glaze is pixelated and made digital. The pieces also play with how over-exposure manifests in digital images.
